Ships
Austal USA is honored to be prime contractor of two major U.S. Navy shipbuilding programs: the Independence-variant Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) and the Expeditionary Fast Transport (EPF). Both programs are currently under serial production at Austal USA’s Mobile, Alabama shipyard.
The ships from each program that Austal has delivered to the Navy have played integral roles in several major national and international Navy and Marine exercises, humanitarian relief efforts and celebrations including:
