Austal USA's Jenny Klein recognized as 40/40 honoree

MOBILE, Ala. – Austal USA is proud to share the recognition of Jenny Klein as a Focus Empowers 40/40 honoree. The 40 Over 40 annual award celebrates and honors forty amazing women over forty who have made a mark professionally and positively impacted their community.

Klein was selected for the honor in recognition of her advocacy and commitment to the City of Mobile and its surrounding communities. As the Austal USA Events and Protocol Manager, Klein is a primary interface with the many charitable organizations Austal USA supports through their corporate giving program. Klein’s ability to build strong partnerships and advocate for initiatives has helped support and propel the community in which she works and resides.

“Speaking on behalf of everyone at Austal USA, we couldn’t be prouder of Jenny for receiving this honor,” Austal USA Vice President Larry Ryder commented. “She is a passionate member of the South Alabama community who gives generously of her time to many deserving charitable organizations both personally and on Austal USA’s behalf. We are honored to have her represent us as a community relations advocate.”

Klein, a seven-year veteran at Austal USA and a Certified Meeting Professional, came to the company with more than 15 years of experience in the events and hospitality industry. Her expertise in these areas combined with her activism with the Mobile Area Chamber of Commerce and the Mobile Baykeepers, among others, has proved invaluable to her colleagues and fellow citizens. Klein recently graduated from the Protocol School of Washington, is a graduate of Leadership Mobile and Loyola University in New Orleans.

Focus Empowers is a nonpartisan women's organization with the mission to encourage, educate, and empower women and girls across Alabama.
